Mae Foret

Mae Frances Foret, age 94 years, a native of Houma and resident of Thibodaux, passed away Wednesday August 30,2017 at 4:41 AM. Visitation will be held Monday September 4, 2017 from 5 PM until 9 PM and Tuesday September 5, 2017 from 8 am until 10:30 am at the Chapel Magnolia of Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will held Tuesday September 5, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary with interment to follow in church cemetery. Mrs. Mae is survived by her sons; Irvin Paul Foret and wife Della and James Foret and wife Gina. Daughters; Linda and husband Daniel Nail, Earline and husband Barry Hutchinson and Marian and husband Allen Bexley. Brother; Arthur Breaux and sister Velma Breaux, in addition to 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 37 years, Irvin Foret. Her parents: Joseph Sr. and Louise Hebert Breaux.   Brothers: Carlen, Edmond, Joseph, Hubert, Claude and Leonce Breaux. Sisters: Eunice Hebert and Lottie Lusson. A special thanks to her caregivers Linda Nail, daughter and Daniel Nail son-in-law, Irvin P. son and Della Foret daughter-in-law, Shannon Foret, granddaughter; Caitlin Foret, great-granddaughter; Chelsea Guidry, Gwen Pitre and a special thanks and appreciation is extended to Journey Hospice for their help in her final days.
