Lula Bourg

Lula Luke Bourg, 72, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 12:20pm.  Lula was a native and resident of Houma, LA. 

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at Annunziata Catholic Church on Monday, August 9, 2021 from 9:30am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at Annunziata Church beginning at 11:00am.  Burial will take place after services in Holy Family Cemetery in Dulac, LA.

Lula is survived by her loving husband, Edward Bourg; children, Carlton Bourg and wife Stacie, Debbie Bourg, Dustin Bourg and wife Lacey; grandchildren, Terrin Duthu and wife Leah, Jacelyn Duthu and fiancé’ Trevor, Callan Bourg, Elyssa Daigle and husband Ryan, Kelsey Bourg, Kaydence Bourg and Adalyn Bourg; great grandchildren, Avery, Maliyah, Tristan, Elijah, Brynleigh, and Audrey; siblings, Leroy Luke, Marion Boudreaux, Janice Callahan, Claude Luke Jr., Nolan Luke, Gerald John Luke, Charlene Hebert, and Sheila Lovell; brothers-in-law, Calvin Boudreaux, Danny Callahan, Leroy Lovell, Gordon Hebert; sisters-in-law, Loretta Luke, Penny Luke, and Bernice Luke.

Lula is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Edna Foret Luke.

Lula’s family meant the world to her; most especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Lula enjoyed time spent with family drinking coffee and sharing memories. She also enjoyed working in her yard, playing bingo, shopping and cooking meals for family gatherings.

The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Terrebonne General Health Systems, and Hi-Seas of Dulac.

  Due to the Covid-19 pandemic; local and CDC regulations require facemask and proper social distancing while attending funeral services.
