Lucy Mae Laughlin, aged 76, a native of Raceland and resident of Houma, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Mary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. April 23, 2018 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Lucy is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles E. Laughlin, Jr.; sons, William and Edward and wife Laurie Laughlin; daughters, Angela and husband Randy Landry; son-in-law, Carroll Scioneaux; sister, Beverly Pitre; grandchildren, Devin Laughlin and companion Kelly, Ty Laughlin-Fuller and Sidney Scioneaux; great-grandchild, Bradlee Laughlin; step-grandchildren, Christopher Bourrie, Raeven Landry, Randi and Caeden Landry; step-great grandsons, Victor Bourrie, and Grayson Norberg.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Eugene and Aline Guidroz Ledet; grandson, Cameron Landry; daughter, Nancy Scioneaux
Mrs. Lucy was a homemaker who loved flower gardening, being with family and friends and her beloved cats. She was loved by all and will be missed dearly.
The family would like to thank Journey Hospice and Dr. Ray Cinnater for their care and compassion.
