Lucille Courteaux

Lucille B. Courteaux, aged 64, a native and resident of Houma passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 11:35 AM.

Visitation will be held beginning at 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM on Friday, September 14, 2018 in the Chapel Magnolia of Chauvin Funeral Home, and continuing on Saturday morning September 15, 2018 from 8:00 AM until service time at 12:00 PM. Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Mrs. Lucille is survived by her beloved husband of 19 years, Timmy J. Courteaux. Her loving sons, Stanley, Jr., Daniel, Anthony, Sr., Nick and wife Tara, and Van, Sr. and wife Armi Hotard; brother, Evest Billiot; sisters, Margaret Verdin and Marie Billiot. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Teles Antoine and Emelia Billiot Billiot; and brother, Paul Billiot.

She was a homemaker who loved to cook, and listen to her favorite country singer, Willie Nelson. converse on the telephone, and watch her favorite television show, Andy Griffith. She was also a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother to her grandchildren. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
