Lois Pierron

Lois Marie Prosperie Pierron, 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 2, 2017. She was a native of Montegut and a resident of Bourg. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend visitation at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial following. Burial will be held in the church cemetery. Lois is survived by her son Richard H. Pierron, Jr.; daughters, Suzanne R. Pierron, Marie A. Pierron, and Amy L. (Anthony) LeBlanc; and sisters, Beverly P. Bouzigard and Elaine P. Guidry. Lois was preceded in death by her husband Richard Herbert Pierron, Sr.; mother Gladys Laperouse Prosperie; father Victor Lawrence Prosperie; brothers, Randolph Prosperie, Larry Prosperie, and Carl Prosperie; and sister Marion P. Malbrough. She enjoyed reading reading and gardening. In lieu of flowers, donations to the ASPCA are appreciated. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Pierron family.
