December 29, 1931 — January 2, 2021

Lloyd Francis LeBouef, age 89, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021. Lloyd was a longtime resident of Houma, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in Chapel Dauphine of Chauvin Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Terrebonne Memorial Park.

Lloyd is survived by his wife of 29 years, Alice Trahan Hebert LeBouef; sons, Mark LeBouef and wife Shelia, Craig LeBouef and wife Rhonda, and Keith LeBouef and wife Susan; grandchildren, Heather Cuneo and husband Chris, Jada Roy and husband Dallas, Randall LeBouef, Ellen Ponson and husband Robbie, Shirley LeBouef; great-grandchildren, Skylar LeBouef, Simon Moore (step), Samantha Moore (step), Kennedi  and Kaylee Ponson, Jaxon and Zoey LeBouef, Rylee Cuneo, Jaxson, Noah, and Everly Roy; step-children, Linda Babin, Jill Ledet, Bart Hebert, Murphy Hebert, Jr., Tony Hebert, Jessica Hebert wife of Buddy; 14 step-great grandchildren, 25 step great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Roundtree LeBouef; parents, Cyril and Eunice LeBouef; sister, Shirley and her husband Houston Armond; stepson, Carey “Buddy” Hebert.

Lloyd was a blessed man who loved his family and loved and served his Lord. Anyone who knew Lloyd was blessed by his presence and had a special place in his prayers. Lloyd was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church for thirty years. He held many positions at Holy Rosary including, Eucharistic Ministry, Acolyte, Knights of Columbus member, and was recently bestowed knight of the year of 2020. Lloyd was also a Master Sergeant in the National Guard in Company C. He was retired from the Houma Police Department retiring as Assistant Chief of Police. Lloyd will be missed by his family, friends, and church family. He now resides in Heaven and resting in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Due to Covid19 and CDC regulations, family and friends attending services are required to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
