Lisa Pellegrin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lisa Ann Pellegrin, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, who left us on January 11, 2025. Born in Houma, Louisiana, on May 19, 1965, Lisa lived her entire life in her hometown, where she worked in the seafood packaging industry and became a cherished member of the community.

Lisa was a remarkable woman whose love for her family knew no bounds. She adored her and her siblings, Chris Pellegrin, Judy Toups, Audrey Hebert. The joy of her life came from her nieces and nephews, who she cherished as if they were her own children. Lisa appreciated her neices Natalie Rodrigue and Cierra Pellegrin for caring for her throughout her days. Lisa was a devoted godparent to Christy, Cassandra, Ashley, Yancey Jr., and Kassey. Lisa used her gentle spirit and unwavering support to touch the lives of those around her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Edna Blanchard Pellegrin; siblings, Junior Pellegrin, Gloria Sevin, Richard Pellegrin, Charlene P. Deogracias; companion, Danny Dupre. 

Known for her infectious smile and loving demeanor, Lisa had a unique ability to uplift everyone she encountered. A lover of dance and an exceptional cook, she brought joy to family gatherings, where her culinary talents shone brightly, creating lasting memories for all.

Lisa's enthusiasm for life and her generous heart will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Her family takes solace in the warmth of her spirit, which will forever remain a guiding light in their lives.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 in Chapel Dauphine of Chauvin Funeral Home beginning at 9:00am until the service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held in St. Elie Cemetery in Chauvin. 

In this time of sorrow, let us remember Lisa Ann Pellegrin as the loving sister, devoted family member, and radiant spirit she was, and let her legacy of love continue to inspire us all. Her memory will live on in our hearts and minds as we navigate the days ahead without her.
