Linda Rodrigue Scott, 75 a native and resident of Houma passed away on October 31, 2018.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in the Magnolia Chapel at Chauvin Funeral Home on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Monday, November 5th, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 9:00 AM until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial immediately following in Holy Rosary Mausoleum.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Jeffery Joseph Scott. Her son Donnie John Scott and wife Talia Toups Scott. Daughters Holly Scott Crochet and husband Keith P. Crochet and Stephanie “Susie” Scott Carrere and husband Barry J. Carrere. Grandchildren Jared J. Carrere and fiancé’ April R. Kreamer, Jayce M. Carrere, Abigail J. Scott and Alex J. Scott. Step-granddaughters Daphne R. Crochet and Holly C. Landry and husband Joshua Landry. Step-great-grandchildren Lane A. Crochet, Olivia M. Crochet, Drake A. Voisin, Haden J. Voisin and Rhonin C. Landry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eulan J. and Corine Chaisson Rodrigue.
Linda loved being home surrounded with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved to travel, especially to the happiest place on earth, Disney World. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend that will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to express their deepest and sincere gratitude to Dr. Russell Henry, Terrebonne General 5 North Staff, Haydel Memorial Hospice Staff and caregivers who demonstrated such love and compassion.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to alz.org/walk/bayou or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at 9457 Brookline Avenue, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 70809.
