LeRoy LeBlanc

LeRoy J. LeBlanc, age 83, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, February 10, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was a native and long-time resident of Chauvin, La.

A private memorial will be held by the family.

LeRoy is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Marie “Nola” Avet LeBlanc; sons, Gerald J. LeBlanc and wife Roxanne, Richard LeBlanc; daughter, Lisa LeBlanc Stewart; grandchildren, Benjamin LeBlanc and wife Victoria, Tiffany LeBlanc Ruiz and husband Manuel, Brett LeBlanc, Brandie Stewart, Brandon Stewart; sister, Loretta Henry and husband Herman.

LeRoy is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin J. LeBlanc and Vivian Pitre LeBlanc; brother, Donald LeBlanc; sister, Harriet Dupre; son in law, Timothy Stewart.

LeRoy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, and fishing. LeRoy loved working for Marlin Marine and Texaco. He was known as a local beekeeper, “The Bee Buster”. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family and having coffee with his friends.  He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
