Leroy Dupre

Leroy Joseph Dupre, age 76, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 9:42 p.m. He was a native and resident of Montegut, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial at Chauvin Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m.

Leroy is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Ann Pellegrin Dupre; sons, Elroy P. Dupre and wife, Roxanne, and  Elray J. Dupre; daughters, Ella-Mae M. Dupre and companion, Dustin Desadier, and Eula M. Dupre and companion, Cole Domangue; brothers, Calvin P., Alfred J., and Timmy J. Dupre and companion, Gayne Barnhart; sister, Charlene M. Dupre; brother-in-law, Aaron `Tee’ Domangue; grandchildren, Adrian B. Broussard, Jacob P., Faithe A., Cory P., Joshua P., Courtney L., Justina M., and Chantell R. Dupre; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Leroy was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Richard Dupre; mother, Eula Marie Ledet Dupre; and sister, Earline D. Domangue.

Leroy enjoyed spending time and playing games with his wife and friends at the Montegut Council on Aging. He especially loved fishing with his children and grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all the hearts he touched.
