Lenwood Neal

Lenwood Anthony Neal, 89, passed away at 12:47PM on November 21, 2017. He was a native of Chauvin, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be at Chauvin Funeral Home on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM and continue at Chauvin Funeral Home on Monday from 9:00AM until service time. A Liturgy of the Word will begin on Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home at 11:00AM with burial to follow in Bisland Cemetery. Lenwood is survived by adopted granddaughter, Lori Belanger and her daughter Kennedy Lynn Furca; daughter, Rachael Veazey; son Ronnie Neal; step-daughter, Rose Tyler; step-son, Gerald Williamson; sisters, Gladys Neal Parker, Helen Neal Roddy , Anna Mae Neal Dupre, Earline Neal, and Thelma Neal Bergeron. Lenwood is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Clairville Neal and Noricia Voisin Neal; brother, Willard Joseph Neal, Allen Neal; half-brother, Edward Neal; sisters, Shirley Neal Blanchard, Alice Neal Fanguy; half-sisters, Lutrieia Neal Gautreaux, Lorecia Neal, Agnolia Neal Blanchard, Lillian Neal Redmond, Vivian Neal, and Viola Neal. Lenwood was a hard worker and loved to fix things himself. He would help anyone he could. He was bold and independent. Lenwood was witty and quick to tell a good joke.
