Lee Ida Robichaux Rodriguez, age 102, passed away at The Oaks of Houma on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. She was a native of Franklin and longtime resident of Houma for many years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Anthony Catholic Church on Saturday, January 20, 2018 beginning at 8:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery no. 2
Lee Ida is survived by her children, Barbara Hebert Messina, Clarence Hebert, Jr. and wife Betty, Stephen Hebert, David Hebert and wife Sandra; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Raymond and Allen Robichaux; sister, Rita Tanner.
Lee Ida is preceded in death by her 1st husband, Clarence Hebert, Sr.; 2nd husband, Ellis Rodriguez; parents, Sidney Robichaux, Sr. and Rita Landry Robichaux; brothers, Sidney Robichaux, Jr., Earl, Harold, and Jerry Robichaux; sisters, Rose Mae Pisani, Mary Claire Robichaux, and Irene Detiveaux.
Lee Ida was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved and adored her family and enjoyed cooking and family gatherings. Lee Ida was known as the “Dancing Lady” everyone who knew her, knew of her love for dancing. Lee Ida was very strong in her Catholic Faith, she served her Lord to the fullest. She is now reunited with her husbands and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
