Lee Ann Duplantis LeRay

November 27, 1965 — March 17, 2021

Lee Ann Duplantis LeRay, 55, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 8:06 am.  Lee Ann was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 8:00 am until 9:30 am. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will begin following visitation at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral at 10:00 am.  Inurnment will follow services at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.

Lee Ann is survived by her loving husband, Edward John LeRay; son, Ross Matthew LeRay; parents, Novel Duplantis Jr. and Karen Bethancourt Duplantis; and sisters, Mary Duplantis Bourgeois and husband Lonnie, and Susan Duplantis; mother-in-law, Barbara Clause LeRay; brothers-in-law, Richard LeRay Jr. and wife Judy, Barry LeRay and wife Evanly, Scott LeRay and wife Jenny; sisters-in-law, Renee Matherne and husband Danny, Chrissy Ayo and husband Joe, and Julie LeRay and companion Kyle.  Lee Ann is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Lee Ann is preceded in death by her loving grandparents, aunt, uncle and father-in-law, and true family friend.

Lee Ann was a loving wife, adoring mother and a great and remarkable person in every way. Lee Ann was an LPN who dedicated her time in the service and care of others. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was an excellent cook. Lee Ann will truly be missed by all those who loved her.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Thibodaux Reginal Medical Center, AMG Medical Center, Thibodaux Reginal Cancer Center, and all the nurses, doctors, social workers, pastors, and CNA’s of Heart of Hospice Care who made Lee Ann’s last days as comfortable as possible. Your kindness and love will forever be cherished and remembered.

The family request in lieu of flowers, donations to be made to the Thibodaux Cancer Center.
