Lavonne Elderton Liner

Lavonne Marie Elderton Liner, 65, a native of Brownsville, Texas, and a long time resident Dularge, Louisiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, October 17, 2024.

Family and friends of the family are invited to a visitation in her honor on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Chauvin Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Chauvin Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Eloi Cemetery.

Lavonne is survived by her husband of 49 years, Sterling Liner, Jr.; children, Steven Liner (Meghan), April Smith (Z), and Brent Liner; grandchildren, Chase, Faith, Cameron, Evan, Ezra, Delilah, Samuel, and Alyssa; brothers, John Elderton, Jr. (Lori) and Johnny Elderton; and brother-in-law, Eura DeHart.

She was preceded in passing by her parents, John Elderton, Sr. and Eva Boudreaux Elderton; and sister, Yvonne Elderton DeHart.

Throughout her life, Lavonne found joy in the simple pleasures, cherishing moments spent with her loved ones, especially her children, grandchildren, and beloved dogs. Her love for computer games, trips to the beach, and camping adventures highlighted her free spirit and love for life.

In celebration of Lavonne's life, may we all remember her vibrant spirit and the love she shared with those around her. Though she may no longer be with us, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
