Larry Carlos, Sr.

Larry James Carlos, Sr., passed away Saturday August 21, 2021. He was a native of Houma, La and longtime resident of Gonzales, La.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home Tuesday September 7, 2021 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.

Larry is survived by daughter, Kimberly Greer (Brandon); son, Corey Carlos; first wife, Carolyn McDaniel; brothers, Aubrey Carlos (Janice), Patrick Carlos, Sr.; sisters, Elma C. Smith, Patricia C. Boggs; grandchildren, Cameron Carlos, Dillan Morrissey, Dallas Morrissey, Summer Blank, Nina Carlos, Remey Carlos; step-grandchildren, Amber Verdin, Trey Verdin, Austin Greer, Laynee Greer; great-grandchildren, Aliyah Morrissey, Emmalynn Smith, Innocencia Carlos, Audrey Carlos, Asher Melancon; sister-in-law, Dianne Carlos, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Maurice Carlos, Sr. and Cora Hebert Carlos; brother, Maurice Carlos, Jr.; son, Larry Carlos, Jr.; brothers-in-law, William R. Smith, Sr. and Bentley Boggs; sister-in-law, Barbara Carlos

Larry was a loving father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed going to the camp, seafood boils, riding his Harley, and spending time with his family. Larry worked for T. Baker Smith and retired from Enterprise after 30 plus years of service. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
