Laban Voisin, Sr.

November 2, 1945 — March 21, 2018

Laban Anthony Voisin Sr., 72, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 10:12AM. He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Bayou Dularge, LA.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 at St. Eloi Catholic Church from 9:00AM until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00PM with burial following in   St. Eloi Cemetery.

He is survived by his loving Wife, Linda Danos Voisin; Son, Laban A. Voisin Jr.; Daughters, Tammy Hicks and companion Steve; Stephanie Roddy and husband John, and Sally LeBoeuf and husband Ricky; Brothers, Louis “Sonny” Voisin, Al Voisin, J.P. Voisin; Sisters, Velma Pellegrin, Audrey Hebert;

Grandchildren, Eric LeBouef, Belinda LeBouef, Erille LeBouef, Janie LeBouef, Taira Voisin, Megan Phillips, Regina Trosclair, Laura Daly, Ricky LeBouef Jr., Cody LeBouef, Royal LeBouef ; Great Grandchildren, Thea Jones, Justin Matherne Jr., Sophia Borne, Hazel Borne, Cody LeBouef Jr., Baby to be born, Cassidy Trosclair, Leonard Trosclair Jr., Kenneth Trosclair, Ames Daly and Levi Daly, Jessie LeBouef and William Jones, Jr.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Stilly Voisin Sr. and Aline Dumond Voisin; Brother, Stilly Voisin Jr., Elgin “Sonny” Voisin, Earl “LuLu” Voisin, and Ruby Voisin; Sister, Carolyn Foret, and Joyce Foret.

Laban was a 4th Degree Honor Guard Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing and watching TV. Laban had a great sense of humor and enjoyed telling jokes and stories to his family and friends.
