Kristi Taylor Moore

Kristi Taylor Moore, age 38, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Kristi was a native of Lafayette and a resident of Houma.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in Chapel Dauphine of Chauvin Funeral Home on Saturday, November 13, 2021, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 p.m. with burial to take place at a later date.

Kristi is survived by her children, Wren (Saydie) Theriot, Grady Theriot and their father, Kenny Theriot; husband, Larry Moore; mother, Debra Myers Mestas and husband Andrew; father, Charles Taylor and wife Monica; sisters, Audrey Hebert and husband Mark, Sara McCann and husband Ryan; seven step siblings, Kyle, Andrew Jr., Regina, Angela, Heather, Nicole, and Daniel; maternal grandmother, Theresa Myers; paternal grandmother, Mary Ann Taylor. She is also survived by her precious nieces and nephews, Logan and Olivia Hebert, Mya and Harvey McCann.

Kristi is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jules Myers; paternal grandfather, Preston Taylor.

Kristi was a loving mother to her beautiful children. She loved her family dearly and was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She was known for her quick wit, dry sense of humor, but also for her beautiful smile and personality. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Anyone who met Kristi knew they were in the presence of a kind soul.

Kristi’s family feels blessed with the time they had with her here on earth and take comfort in knowing she is at peace in her heavenly kingdom.
