Kirby E. Dupre

Kirby E. Dupre, age 77, passed away Wednesday, February 5 surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of Point Aux Chenes and resident of Houma.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery. 

Kirby is survived by his children, Renee' Carrasco (Gary), Ketty Trosclair (Danny), Archie Buquet (Erica); grandchildren, Hunter, Kade, Dillon, Garrett, Raeann, Alajah, Alonna, Aveon; great-grandchildren, Gracelyn, Adeline, Ashton, Hunter, Jr., Aria, Waylon, Noah, Ty'lae; brothers, Linwood "T-Lin" Dupre (Patty), Carroll Dupre (Hildy); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kirby is preceded in death by his wife, S. Ann Dupre; parents, Clarence J. Dupre, Sr. and Emily Brunet Dupre; brothers, Norris Dupre, Denis Dupre, Norbert Dupre, Alton "Tit" Dupre, Clarence "T-Do" Dupre, Jr., Cory Dupre; sisters, Alida "Da" Dupre, Vesta Ford, Emilie Savoie, Anna Trosclair, Judy Lapeyrouse, Arlene Dupre; son-in-law, Joseph "Tee-Joe" III.

Kirby was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, and playing Keno. Above all, he loved nothing more than spending time with his family and friends. His grandkids and great-grandkids were his pride and joy. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
