Keturah Coleman Martin, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. She was a native of Bascom, Florida and a resident of Houma, Louisiana.
Relatives and friends of the family can be gathered at the Lockport Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Discourse by Brother Folse, will take place at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date.
Keturah is survived by her daughter, Leah Joy Martin Thompson and husband Charles Earl Thompson; sister, Naomi Willhelm; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Keturah is preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Wade Jude Martin; parents, J.T. Coleman and Nita Robinson Coleman; three brothers and five sisters.
Keturah, in every sense of the word was classy, elegant, loving, kind, highly-spirited, and compassionate. Keturah was known for talking to everyone about her heavenly father Jehovah and his son Jesus Christ. She was a pioneer until her passing and took every opportunity to share the good news with others. She was very talented and enjoyed sewing, reading, crocheting and quilting. She was a longtime member of Lockport Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall for over 50 years. She was a recent member of Sugarwood Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall until her passing.
