Keri Lynn Niette, 35, gained her wings, entering the arms of her Heavenly Father on Friday, November 23, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 22, 1983, in Houma and has always resided here.
Keri is survived by her mother and step father, Claudette Bergeron Bascle and O'Neal (Butch) Bascle, and her father and step mother, Michael G. and Susan B. Niette; her siblings Michael Jacob Niette and Shelley, and Angelle Niette, Begnaud and Taylor; her step brother Clint Bascle and Christie; her nieces Grace Begnaud, Adele and Amelia Niette, and Autumn Bascle; nephews Jack Begnaud, Michael J. Niette Jr., Hagen Niette and Connor Bascle; and her fur baby and constant companion Jolie.
Keri was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Pearl and Claude Bergeron, her paternal grandparents Jake and Eula Niette, and nieces, Camille Begnaud and Alyse Niette.
Keri loved her family and friends and cherished the times she was able to spend with them. She loved listening to music, old movies, food network, WWE, concerts and vacations; especially Disneyworld and Nashville.
Keri was friendly, fun-loving and great to be around. Her laughter touched our hearts and gave us great joy. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, niece aunt and friend. Keri's spirit was strong, courageous, pure and innocent.
She didn't complain about her physical limitations, fighting hard to do everything that she was able to do. We all take comfort in knowing that our precious angel's spirit has no limits and is now free to go anywhere and do anything she desires.
Funeral Services will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg, LA, on Friday, November 30, at 12:00 PM, with visitation in the church from 10:00 AM until funeral time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Make-a-Wish Foundation*, Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana, P.O. Box 97104, Washington D.C. 20090-7104.
