Kathleen Jackson

Kathleen Agnes Jackson, age 70, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021. She was a native of Lafayette and a resident of Hammond, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, June 25, 2021, beginning at 9:00 am until a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery.

Kathleen is survived by her brothers, Timothy H. Jackson and wife, Nancy, and Patrick A. Jackson and wife, Marilyn; and nephews, Connor G. Jackson and Brendan P. Jackson.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Elphage and Aline Mary Henry Jackson.

Kathy didn’t let her limitations slow her down. She was a generous and happy person who made friends wherever she went. She was an avid shopper and loved to buy gifts for her friends and herself. Kathy loved her family, including her caregivers at Pinecrest Developmental Center in Pineville, LA, where she lived for over 50 years, and especially her family at OPTIONS in Hammond, LA.  Kathy and her family are forever grateful for the loving and wonderful care she experienced from her OPTIONS family.  Donations in Kathy’s name can be sent to OPTIONS, Inc., 19362 W Shelton Rd., Hammond, LA, LA 70401.
