Karen Breaux

Karen Olivia Garner Breaux, age 71, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 6, 2020 She was a native of Stone County, MS and a resident of Houma, LA.

Karen is survived by her daughter, Leslie Anne Breaux; son, Donald Joseph Breaux, III; brother, James Weldon Knight; grandchildren, Amanda Kathryn Marie Breaux, Kira Angelique Breaux, Makayla Jane Breaux.

Karen is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Donald Joseph Breaux, Jr.; father, James Obey Garner; mother, Dale Adline Garner; daughter-in-law, Alanna Smith Breaux; In-laws, Donald Alcide and Julia Marie Andres Breaux; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Breaux.

Karen was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. She a Homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all whose hearts she touched.

The family would like to thank Dr. Gerardo Arias, Dr. David Patton, Dr. Devin Bourgeois, the staff of St. Catherine’s Hospice, and the staff of Thibodaux Regional Medical.
