Karen Adams

Karen Lynn Adams, 63, born September 6, 1954; passed away on, June 18, 2018. She was born in El Campo, TX, resident of Tampa, FL and longtime resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends of the family are invited to a memorial service in her honor on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 8:30 AM and concluding at 10:30AM. Ministry Services will begin at 10:30AM at Chauvin Funeral Home. Burial will follow services at St. Francis de Sales #2.

Karen is survived by her brothers, Keystol Jay Adams and wife Paula Crochet Adams, Patrick Kit Adams and wife Cayla Donaldson Adams; nephews, Brent Adams and wife Tracy Leonard Adams, Chad and Shawn Adams; great nephews, Luke and Kade Adams; and long time companion, Lucas Fontenot.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Eugene “Bob” Adams and Evelyn “Jean” Adams; paternal grandparents, Illian H. Adams and Mary O. Forsythe; and maternal grandparents, Arthur Embree and Magel Snyder Embree.

Karen had a life long career in sales and communications. She also had a great affection for her pet companions. Karen loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with her family; especially her nephews and great nephews.
