Juanita Blanchard

Juanita Marie Authement Blanchard, 85, a native of Grand Caillou, former resident of Bourg and Chauvin passed into eternal life on Tuesday, August 9, 2017 Visitation will be from 9:00 to Mass at 11:00 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, on Monday, August 14, 2017. She is survived by one son, Nathan A. Blanchard, three daughters, E. Marie Mendenhall, MD and husband Warren, Janis Ann Molaison, Anna Marie Authement, and husband Roy; seven grandchildren, Michael N. Wiley and companion, Ketti Spiers, Nolan C. Blanchard and wife Brandi Dupre, Kristy B. Liner, Marc D. Molaison and wife Heidi Dryden, Ross A. Mendenhall and wife, Vicktoria Pavlova, Glenn S. Sallean and wife, Danielle Falgoust, Benjamin A. Molaison and wife Alyssa Hebert; fourteen great grandchildren, Denise, Jazzmine, Nathan T. and Avery B. Blanchard, Louis Liner III, Evan and Claire Wiley, Andrew, Thomas, and Amanda Molaison, Lucas Molaison, Emma and Hannah Sallean and Vera Mendenhall, one brother, Gervais Authement and wife Mavis, and one sister, Ada A. Bergeron and husband Leon. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Nolan A. Blanchard, her dear parents, Arthur and Agnes (Gervais) Authement, one brother, Arthur Authement, JR., one great grandchild, Hawk Liner, one son-in-law, Doug Molaison. We were blessed to have known and loved her and we will miss her. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Senior Center of your choice.
