Joyce Orso

Joyce Marie Latta Orso, age 82 passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, December 28, 2017. She was a native and a resident of Houma.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 1pm in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.

Joyce is survived by her sons, Keith A. Leckelt, and David "Kent" Leckelt and wife, Kelly; sister, Judy Latta Stevenson; brother, Merton L. Latta, Jr. and wife, Donna; grandchildren, Holly Leckelt Chuter and husband, Jason, Rachael Milne and husband, Neil, Kelly Wood, and Robert Wood and wife, Melissa; great-grandchildren, Kailyn, Alexis, Aaron, Austin, and Elijah Chuter, Jack Wood, Robert Wood, II, Charlotte Milne, and Caden Leckelt.

Joyce is preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Merton Leroy Latta, Sr. and Susan; mother, Ada Marie Derouen Latta; son, Kevin M. Leckelt; daughter, Charlotte Leckelt Elsey; granddaughter, Amy Leckelt.

Joyce enjoyed planting flower gardens and sewing.
