Joyce Nell Marie Dubois Miller

Joyce Nell Marie Dubois Miller, 80, passed away surrounded by her loving family on October 14, 2024. Joyce was a native of Erath, LA and a longtime resident of Gibson, LA. She was born to parents Curfey and Olive Dubois on March 21, 1944.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Friday, October 25, 2024 from 9 AM to 11 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church; 3897 Bayou Black Dr, Houma, LA 70360. A time of fellowship will follow at the Church Hall.

To cherish Joyce's memories is her loving husband of 63 years Rodney Lee Miller; her son, Paul Allen Miller and wife Chantelle Miller of St. Gabriel, LA; her daughters, Theresa Marie Miller Gaudet and husband Monty Joseph Gaudet of Gibson, LA, Elizabeth Ann Miller Fontenot of Winter Haven, FL; her sister Betty Ann Dubois Brasseaux; her 15 grandchildren, Monty Gaudet Jr., Tracey Matthiews, Hubert Mabe, Lonnie Gaudet, Ryder Gaudet, Bennie Ray Fontenot, Jamie Fontenot, Cory Fontenot, Scott Fontenot, Paula Miller Davis, Grant Guillory-Dohmann, Adrianna Miller Brunet, Josh Miller and Cody Davidson; her sister Betty Ann Dubois Brasseaux; 25 Great Grandchildren and 15 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Joyce is reunited in heaven with her parents Curfey and Olive Dubois; her son-in-law, Benny Ray Fontenot; her brother-in-law Shelley Brasseaux; and her grandson Brent Fontenot.

Joyce was a kind and loving soul who touched the lives of many. She loved dancing and going to the casino, but above all, she loved her family and friends dearly and spending time with them. Joyce has left this world but leaves a beautiful legacy behind.
