Joyce Marie LeBlanc DeHart, age 82, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 5:50 pm. She was a native and resident of Chauvin.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, November 2, 2018 beginning at 9:30 am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am with burial following in church cemetery.
Joyce is survived by her sons, Danny J. LeBlanc, Brian P. LeBlanc and wife, Rebecca, Randy J. LeBlanc and wife, Pat, Kevin J. LeBlanc and wife, Donna, and Craig A. LeBlanc and fiancé’, Shelley; stepchildren, Sullivan “Champ” DeHart, and Dottie Wakeland; brothers, Darry "Duck" LeBlanc, Eugene LeBlanc and wife, Esmeralda, and Dale LeBlanc; sisters, Shirley Guy, Eunice “Sis” Cangelosi and husband, Nick, Carolyn Trosclair and husband, Benny, and Sandra Hutchinson and husband, Kevin; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joyce is preceded in death by her 1st husband of 21 years, Leroy Joseph LeBlanc; 2nd Husband of 36 years, Leroy Peter DeHart; parents, Alvin Sr. and Eunice LeBouef LeBlanc; brothers, Francis, Charles, Carroll, Druis John Sr., Ronald Phillip, Alvin Jr., and Barry Andrew LeBlanc; sisters, Rita Mae LeBouef, and Kathy Ledet; grandchildren, Greg, Derek and Christopher LeBlanc.
Joyce was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She worked as a cook for Terrebonne Parish School Board for 21 years and Rouse’s Supermarket for 8 years. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending time with family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
