Joshua Wiltz

Joshua Jordan Wiltz, age 33, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at 10:27 a.m. He was a native of Des Allemands and a resident of Houma, LA.

A private service will be held.

Joshua is survived by his wife of 12 years, Sharon Lorraine Verdin Wiltz; mother, Cynthia Anne Dufrene Wiltz; sons, Jacob Michael Hebert and Trent Byerly; daughter, Jae'lynn Shaye'Ann Wiltz; brothers, Henry Brandon (Mendy) Wiltz, and Johnathan Wendell (Charisse) Wiltz; sisters, Malika Lynn (Lonnie Scott) Brown, Christie Michelle (Cornell Combs) Whitaker, Kimberly Michelle (Lionel Martin) Wiltz, Monisha Elizabeth (Robert) Bennett, and Lakisha Wiltz; grandmother, Dolores Plaisance Dufrene.

Joshua was preceded in death by his father, Henry Joseph Wiltz; grandparents, Calvin John Dufrene, and Columbus and Hilda Hopkins Wiltz.

Joshua AKA “J” had a kind spirit and loving heart. He like to entertain his family and friends with his free style raps. He was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, dressing up, playing video games, playing cards, and riding around with family and friends.  He will be greatly missed by all whose hearts he touched.

Due to the recent health concerns and the restrictions in accordance with limited gatherings, the funeral services will be held privately by the immediate family.
