John Costales

John Costales, age 34, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018. He was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Houma.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Bernadette Catholic Church on Friday, December 14, 2018 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Terrebonne Memorial Park.

John is survived by his beloved mother, Danette Duvall Labauve; step-father, Coy Labauve; close brother, Chad Costales & Close Father Figure-Beau Fallon; siblings, Noah Nyssen, Ian Fallon, Steven Fallon, Brooke Fallon, Justin Veda, Adrienne Wilson; nephew, Landon Costales; daughter, new born beautiful baby girl Jaylynn Mon't Costales; aunts, Ginga Coyle, Christine Lacoste, Mary Moore, Trish Tallic, Magaly, Liz Dufrene, Joyce Peterson, Jenny Phaff, Julie Costales ; uncles, Bobby Treadaway, James Howerton, Tommy Costales; grandparents, Magaly/Mamoo & Juan Vincent Costales; John also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

John is preceded by his father, John Patrick Costales Sr.; grandparents, Lydia & Frederick Reynolds, Patricia Howerton, Anthony Clayton, Patsy Landry, & Lisa Phaff; cousin, Tobin Tennison.

John's main interest and best hobby above all else was to spend good, quality time sharing love with his mother on a daily basis. Other interests include sports and rapping for fun. John proudly served our country in the United States Army. He was 9/11 Army war veteran and was awarded 4 medals of Honor for his courageous acts. John will be dearly missed by all and now rests in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
