Jo Lynne Lowman

August 18, 1950 — April 26, 2021

Jo Lynne Lowman, age 70, passed away on the evening of April 26, 2021.  She was a native of Fairfield, Illinois, a longtime resident of the     Marietta / Smyrna area of Georgia and a current resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana. 

A visitation in her honor will be held at the Grace Lutheran Church on Valhi Boulevard on May 3, 2021 beginning at 9:30 am with the Memorial Service commencing at 11:30am.  Private burial will be held at a later time.

Jo Lynne is survived by her three children; Earl A. Lirette III, Dawn Marie Frommeyer (girlfriend), Erin A. Lirette, and Engrid A. Lirette; grandchildren; Catherine Jo Pintuck, Alexis Barlow and Austin Barlow; three great-grandchildren; siblings; Fern Stine, Marie Lowman, Thomas Lowman and Luther Lowman.

Jo Lynne is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Audrey Nantkes Lowman.

She was an Oklahoma University Graduate and a longtime employee of Citibank in the Atlanta area.  As a devout Lutheran, she was a long standing member of the Faith Lutheran Church and a reunited member of Grace Lutheran Church.  Aside from her work, she enjoyed church, the beach, traveling, gardening and sewing.  She will be dearly missed by all who loved her, but her family and friends have the comfort knowing that she is finally resting in peace with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jo Lynne passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her name to the Grace Lutheran Church.
