Jewell Ann Falgout Breaux, born November 18, 1937, in Bourg, Louisiana, entered rest with her love and the Lord on September 15, 2023, surrounded by her children.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation in her honor on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial to immediately follow at St. Francis Cemetery No. 2.

She is the oldest girl of nine children survived by her three sisters, Miriam Falgout, Rhoda and husband Gary Boquet, and Charlene "Charlie" and husband Jeff Freiwald; and three brothers, Nolan "Tommy" Falgout, Jr., Errol Falgout, and Lionel and wife Denise Falgout. She is also survived by her five children, Kevin and wife Liz Breaux, Brian and wife LeeAnn Breaux, Darrin and wife Tammy Breaux, Becky and husband Jamie Parmer, and Denise and husband Curtis Chaisson; nine grandchildren, Christy Breaux, Ashton Breaux, Kelly and Melissa Breaux, Casi and Jenny Parmer, Felicia and Victoria Chaisson, and Kayla Rhodes; as well as eight great-grandchildren, Sydney Womack and Alivia Smallwood, Kohlson and Joleigh Warden, Ella Louis, Kadence, Benson and Bentley Rhodes; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years. Roy J. Breaux, Jr.; her parents, Nolan "Dogree" Falgout, Sr. and Adeline "Deanie" Bascle Falgout; brother, Glen Falgout; sister, Cynthia "Cindy" Falgout Charpentier; and two grandchildren, Lea Marie Breaux and Justin Michael Breaux.

She was a 1955 graduate from Terrebonne High School. She married after graduation and moved to Houma where she never really retired from the only job she cherished most, which was loving her children, grandchildren, and family. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma. She was a member of Broadmoor Garden Club, Bowling League, and a Charter member in which she was Queen for Krewe of Aphrodites in 1994.

In her 85 years, she committed her entire life to loving her husband, children, grandchildren, and family with her unending faith, hard work, dedication, and special love. Her family and friends will forever miss her but find comfort in knowing that their loss on Earth is Heaven's gain with the Lord and the Love of Her Life, Roy.

Special thanks to Haydel Memorial Hospice for all their loving care.
