Jerriod Blanchard

Jerriod Michael Blanchard, 45, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 7:40am.  Jerriod was a native and resident of Houma, LA. 

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend visitation  on Friday, September 10, 2021, from 9:00am until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial at St. Francis No. 2 at a later date.

Jerriod is survived his parents; Gerard and Linda Gauthreaux Blanchard; son, Gerrett Blanchard; siblings, brother, Brett John Blanchard and  his wife Min Blanchard; one niece , Asia Blanchard.

Jerriod is preceded in death by his; paternal grandparents, Donald Blanchard and grandmother, Cherry Medice Blanchard; maternal grandparents, George Gauthreaux and Lillian Gauthreaux. 

Jerriod liked to work with computers and was a member of NHRA. Jerriod owned Drag Motercycles. He enjoyed spending time his party barge. Jerriod was a kind and generous man who loved his dog Rossi. 

Jerriod was a man of great character and was admired by many whom he met on his path in life.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic; local and CDC regulations require facemask and proper social distancing while attending funeral services.
