Jerome Michael

Jerome Michael Chauvin, 70, passed away on February 1, 2022 at 4:18pm.  Jerome was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends of the family are invited to a memorial service on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 4:30pm until 8:00pm.  Private burial will take place in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 on a later date.

Jerome is survived by his mother, Joyce Chauvin; son, Jerome “Pepe” Chauvin Jr. and wife Alonna; daughters, Nicole Pierce and fiancé Doug, Holly Griffin and husband Miles; one brother, Emery Chauvin Jr. and companion Mary; sisters, Jenny Paris and husband Bobby, Denise Dover;  loving grandchildren, Shannon, Heather, Shane, Dylan, Grayson, Hunter, Cameron, Kelsey, Sophia, Cullen, Chloe,  and thirteen loving great grandchildren.

Jerome is preceded in death by his father, Emery Chauvin Sr.

Jerome enjoyed fishing, golfing and coaching baseball/softball and he enjoyed spending his time at work with his crew. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Jerome will be dearly missed, never forgotten and always loved by his many family and friends.

The family would like to thank the many people who helped care for him and family during their times of need.
