Jennie Theriot

Jennie Lee Cunningham Theriot, 87, a native and resident of Houma, LA passed away Monday evening, December 10, 2018 at 4:25PM.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation Friday, December 14, 2018 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 9:00AM until service time at St. Eloi Catholic Church in Theriot, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00AM with burial to follow in Terrebonne Memorial Park in Houma, LA.

Jennie is survived by her children, Dale Theriot and wife Nancy, Barry Theriot and wife Roxanne, and Glenn Theriot; grandchildren; Britt Theriot and wife Lanun, Stacy Henderson and husband Jason, Hunter Theriot, Travis Theriot and wife Amy, Brooke Brunet and husband Coby, Eric Theriot, Byron Theriot, and Nathan; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister, Sylvia Talbot and husband Riley; brothers, Richard Cunningham and wife Anna and Willis Cunningham.

Jennie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold “T-Boy” Theriot for fifty-seven years of wonderful marriage. She is also preceded by her daughter, Darnell and her parents, Willis and Blanche Cunningham; and brothers, Emile and Johnny Cunningham.

Jennie enjoyed dancing at Waterlife Museum and Shady Acres. She enjoyed shopping and dressing up with her high heels. She most loved spending time with family, friends, and seeing her three sons. She was a member of the St. Eloi K.C. Ladie’s Auxiliary. She loved working the sweets booth at the St. Eloi fair.

She will be missed dearly.
