Jeanette Boudreaux

Jeanette Marie Theriot Boudreaux, 90, died on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 11:52 PM. She was a native of Theriot and a resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and Monday, August 7, 2017 from 9 AM until funeral time at Annunziata Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will be held in Holy Rosary Cemetery.   She is survived by her George “Mummy” Boudreaux and wife, Peggy of Houma, and Jimmy E. Boudreaux and wife, Joy of Baton Rouge; Marie Aline Boudreaux of Lafayette, and Joan O. Boudreaux of Houma; grandchildren, Leah B. Gonsoulin and husband, Wayne of Houston, Tx, Lacy B. Jordan and husband, Jason of New Orleans, Timmy J. Boudreaux and wife Tracy of Gonzales, and Connie B. Silva and husband, Mark of Baton Rouge; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Noah and Jonah Gonsoulin, Chance Boudreaux and one granddaughter on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, George Loyola “Hook” Boudreaux; parents, Eloi Pierre and Aline Anne Chauvin Theriot. She was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was a homemaker and retired teacher’s aide for Terrebonne Parish School Board. She enjoyed playing cards, doing genealogy, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
