Janie Roger

Janie Marie Chatagnier Roger, age 54, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 1:30 am. She was a native and a resident of Houma, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Francis De Sales Cathedral on Monday, September 24, 2018 beginning at 9:00 am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.

Janie is survived by her husband, Christopher Roger; sons, Brent and Ryan Roger; daughters, Renee (Michael) Falgout, and Kristen (Kasey Trahan) Roger; brother, Gary (Sharon) Chatagnier; sister, Amy (Mark) Champagne; stepbrother, Sheen (Editha) Fischer; stepsister, Dr. Melissa Fischer; nephews, Dr. Kyle Champagne, Gary F., Craig L., Chad W. and Matthew J. Chatagnier; nieces, Allyson and Anna Champagne.
Janie is preceded in death by her father, Francis Joseph Chatagnier; mother and stepfather, Dorothy Porche Chatagnier (Earl) Fischer; in-laws, Milton J. and Marie Roger.

Janie was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sale Cathedral. She was retired from Terrebonne Parish School Board, an active volunteer at Vandebilt Catholic, and an avid Saints Fan. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
