Janice Duplantis

Janice Duplantis, 69, passed away Sunday morning, October 1, 2017 at 6:45AM. She was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation for Janice will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Chauvin Funeral Home beginning at 10:00AM until service time. A Liturgy of the Word will begin at 2:30PM on Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home with burial following services in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. Janice is survived her brothers, Luke Duplantis Jr. and late wife Lola Duplantis and Charles Duplantis Sr. and late wife Mary Duplantis, Jimmy Duplantis and wife Margie Duplantis; Sisters, Carolyn Duplantis Brunet and late husband Ellis Brunet, Janet Duplantis Pellegrin and husband Wiltz Pellegrin; Sisters-in-Law and  Shirley Duplantis; and many numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren. Janice is preceded in death by her Parents, Luke Joseph Duplantis and Rita Mae Blanchard Duplantis; Brother, Gilbert Duplantis. She loved and enjoyed spending time at the casino with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Duplantis family.
