Janet Gros

Janet P. Gros, age 90, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She was a longtime resident of Houma, LA.

Burial will be held privately in Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Janet is survived by her sons, Michael Gros and wife Nita, David Gros and companion Pam; grandchildren, Kellie Gros, Katie Gros Hebert, Danny Gros, and David Gros, Jr.; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Anderson and Diane Rodrigue.

Janet is preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Gros; parents, Avery and Annie Price; Elward Price; sister, Marlene Hornsby.

Janet was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family dearly and always enjoyed being around her family. Janet was an educator and retired after many years as a third-grade teacher at Holy Rosary School. Janet is now at rests and has been reunited with her family who passed before her. May she rests in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
