Captain Trosclair spent his life on the Mississippi River as a respected longtime Riverboat Captain. His life on the River brought him much love and fulfillment and by the time he was done he was certainly a legend among his fellow Captains.

Captain Trosclair was loved by many and he will be greatly missed. The term “give you the shirt off his back” is often used to describe one’s generosity. Captain Trosclair embodied this saying and very likely has literally given someone the shirt off his back. His love of family, his generous heart, and his love for the River is how many came to know Captain Trosclair, and they are all blessed for having crossed his path.

Fair winds and following seas Captain Trosclair. We are all better off for having known you.
