James Robinson

James “Jim” Robinson, 85, a resident of Houma, died on Tuesday, July 11, 2017. Visitation will be held 9 a.m. to funeral time at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery. He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Robinson Chauvin, son, Mark “Tommy” Robinson, grandchildren, Kellie Robinson Fanguy and husband Rusty, Tanner J. Freeman and wife Megan, great-granddaughter, Mady Dubois, step-grandchildren, Meagan Chauvin Kohls and husband Scott, Kristen Chauvin Landry and husband Gavin, Brandon Chauvin and wife Trista, step-great -grandchildren, Ainsley, Maya, Kennedy, Kiley, Charlotte, Braxton, Parker, Kaylen, and Riley. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean Robichaux Robinson, parents, Joe and Mildred Robinson, son-in-law, Mark A. Chauvin. He was a veteran and retired with Dow and BJ Hughes. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. The family would like to thank The Suites at Sugar Mill Point, and Haydel Hospice for their compassion and love for Jim.
