James Eichorn, Sr.

James Ross Eichorn, Sr. age 83 passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, January 4, 2018. He was a native and a resident of Houma.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of his Life at the home James Eichorn, Jr., 465 Bayou Dularge Rd, Houma, LA 70363 on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 4pm until 6 pm.

James is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia Ruth Brady Eichorn; son, James Ross Eichorn, Jr. and wife, Trudy; son-in-law, Joseph Edward Metzler, Jr.; grandchildren, Ross J. Eichorn and wife, Ashley, Nicole E. Stanley, John R. Eichorn and wife, Tiffany, Joseph T. Eichorn, David E. Koldys, Jr. and wife, Elyse, and Patricia M. Metzler; 14 great-grandchildren.

James is preceded in death by his parents, Ross Henry and Edith Jensen Eichorn; daughter, Laura Ellen Koldys-Metzler.

James served in the US Air Force. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and going to the horse races. James will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Ray Cinnater and staff for their love and compassion.
