James Lee “Jamoe” Boudreaux, 42, a native of Bayou Dularge, LA and resident of Bayou Blue, LA; passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 8:20am.
His family and friends are invited to Visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 10:00am until service time. A Liturgy of the Word will begin following visitation at 6:00pm. Service will conclude following Ministry Services with burial to be held privately at a later date by the family.
James is survived by his parents, Don Boudreaux and Faith Porche Boudreaux; brother, Bryan Boudreaux; daughters, Abigail Boudreaux, Amber Bergeron Prestenbach and husband Tanner; sons, James Lee Boudreaux II, and Ethan Boudreaux and the mother of his children, Heather Boudreaux; the love of his life, Tami Solet and her two daughters, Kaleigh Sagona and Kelsey Solet; James’ grandchildren, Karson, Grayson, and Tanner Jr., Prestenbach, and baby Prestenbach due in December. James is also survived by his loving godchild, Macy Boudreaux and nephew Kason Boudreaux and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends. James is also survived by his pet companion, Molly Jane.
James is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Georgia Porche and Dewey “Pete” Porche and paternal grandparents, Kathleen Boudreaux and Don Boudreaux, Sr.; and mother-in-law, Sue Chaisson.
James was a loving son, father, and husband. James had a character and personality that could brighten any room. He was a dependable friend that all could count on. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, sports with his children; and all family gatherings; but most of all, he loved his children and grandchildren.
James was a dedicated Operations Manager for Alpha Rental Tools.
James was an active member of his community. He was an active member in Hercules and a past Duke; as well as a member of Terreanians Carnival Clubs.
James was proud of being a graduate of Terrebonne High School, class of 1996 and he participated in many alumni events.
James will forever be remembered by the many lives he touched. He will never be forgotten and always and forever loved.
