James “Sleepy” Saul Antill II, age 60, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018. He was a native Bayou Black and a resident of Houma, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Anthony Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 beginning at 9:00 am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Burial will be held in Bayou Black Cemetery.
James is survived by parents, Marvin and Carole Bergeron Antill; son, James S. Antill III and wife, Allison; daughter, Jessica A. Caro and husband, Hunter; brothers, Brian P. Antill, and Marvin J. Antill, Jr. and wife, Terry; sister, Anita A. Savoy and husband, Tyson; caregiver and mother of his children, Jean D. Dove; grandchildren, Henry, Charlie, Avery, and Claire.
James is preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Santa Antill, and Ruffin and Lydia Bergeron.
James was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church. He work 40 years for Antill Pipeline Construction Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends. He was a loving father, grandfather and son. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
