James Adams

James Michael Adams, 83, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 10:18pm.  James was a native of Bogalusa, LA and a resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends of the family are invited to visitation on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 9:00am until service time.  Funeral Services will begin on Monday following visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home at 11:00am. Burial will follow services in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, LA.

James is survived by his loving wife of sixty-one years, Adele Young Adams; daughters, Connie Fonseca and husband Eric, Amanda Fonseca, Michele Lee Poiencot; four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

James is preceded in death by his parents, James and Alberta Jenkins Adams; son, James Grady Adams; son-in-law, Carl Fonseca; brother, Donald Adams.

James was an avid gardener. He also enjoyed fishing in his leisure time.
