Jacqueline Givens

Jacqueline Marie Walker Givens, 79, a native of Hattiesburg, MS and resident of Houma died Saturday, November 27, 2021.  Visitation will be from 5 pm to 9 pm Friday December 3^, 2021 at Chauvin Funeral Home and continue on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 9 am to service time.  Ministry Services will begin Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Chauvin Funeral Home at 11:00 am with burial following at Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her husband Dr Thomas Hopkins Givens and her parents Jack Russell and Jacqueline Marie Walker.

She is survived by her son Craig Gill and wife Mary Chris Gill of Sarasota, FL, daughter Dee Dee May of Diberville, MS, and the children of Dr. Thomas H. Givens; Kenneth Givens, Rebecca Givens Bickerstaff, Leigh Givens Ulmer, Greg Givens; sisters Janet Marjorie Walker Collins, Victoria Zella Walker Aycock; grandchildren, Lindsay Gill, Cydney Gill, Ryley Gill, Lauren May Gonzalez, Victoria Givens, Olivia Givens, Maddie Grace Ulmer, Gena Givens Morvant, Jane Givens Falgout, Sara Givens Rosado and great grandchildren, Juliani Gonzalez and Leo Gonzalez.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Houma, Krewe of Cleopatra, and her passion was gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Donations requested by the family to be considered to Terrebonne Parish Library.
