Jacob William Kaul Jr.

Jacob "Jake" William Kaul Jr., 84, passed away on July 3, 2023.  Jake is a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Chauvin, LA. 

Family and friends of the family are invited to a visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home on Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 11:30am until service time. Ministry Service will begin following visitation on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Chauvin Funeral Home at 12:30pm.  Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chauvin, LA. 

Jake is survived by his loving family; his wife of sixty-four years, Sandra Foret Kaul.
Children; Melaine Kaul Boehm (Charlie), Wendy Kaul Hinton (Glynn) and Jacob "Buddy" Kaul, III (Lynn)
Grandchildren; Ashley Surla Ray (Josh), Heidi Hinton Bradley (Blake), Christina Hinton Simonett (Sam)
Great grandchildren; Joshua Ray, Jaycee Ray, Hinton Bradley, Brantley Bradley, Miles Bradley and Penelope Simonett

Jake is preceded in passing by his parents, Jacob William Kaul, Sr. and Alice Galpin Kaul.  
Jake was an avid fisherman and loved boating.  He spent many years enjoying his camp in Chauvin.  After retirement from Avondale Shipyards, he moved to his camp and spent the better part of 22 years on the water.
