Jacob Kaiser

Jacob Stevens Kaiser, age 24, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was a longtime resident of Houma. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home in Chapel Dauphine on Friday, December 8, 2017 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Jacob is survived by his parents, Paul and Sheri Boudwin Kaiser; brother, Jonathan Kaiser; grandmother, Marlene Boudwin; aunts and uncles, Annette Duet and husband Russell, Craig Boudwin, Nancy Boudwin, Ann Reddick, John Kaiser and fiancé Denise, Michael Kaiser, Patrick Kaiser and wife Terri, and Susan Andrews and husband John; and numerous cousins he loved. Jacob is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Timothy Boudwin; paternal grandfathers, Joseph Kaiser and Stevens Walker; paternal grandmother, Barbara Kaiser Walker; aunts and uncles, Kevin Boudwin, Edward, Stephen, Barbara, and Robert Kaiser. Jacob was a very loving, compassionate person. He brought a smile to the face of everyone that he met. He enjoyed walking around the neighborhood meeting new neighbors. Jacob loved listening to music, playing games on his computer and camping with his family and friends. Jacob’s best friend was his dog Katie. We would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and medical staff at University Medical Center for taking such good care of Jacob. They went above and beyond to treat Jacob and were so sensitive and compassionate to Jacob and his family. They provided the best care possible. We would also like to thank TARC. They allowed Jacob to have a job in a safe and loving environment. Jacob loved everyone that he worked with and often came home with funny stories to tell. A very heartfelt thanks to everyone who filled Jacob’s life with so much love. Jacob will be greatly missed by everyone that loved him.
