Henry Joseph Thibodaux

Henry Joseph Thibodaux, 77, a native of Thibodaux, LA and resident of Houma, LA; passed away peacefully surrounded by family at 11:15am on Friday, March 5, 2021. 

Family and friends of the family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Annunziata Catholic Church in Houma, LA at beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church Cemetery.

Henry is survived by his loving wife of fifty-six years, Judith Redden Thibodaux; daughter, Stephanie Thibodaux; brother, Rodgers Thibodaux and wife Betty. Henry is also survived by many loving brothers and sisters in law, and many nieces and nephews.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie and Annette Andras Thibodaux; brothers, Calvin, Charleston, and Russell Thibodaux.

Henry was a retired employee of Texaco after thirty-three years of service.  He enjoyed fishing, carpentry, gardening; and most enjoyed deer hunting in Texas with relatives and friends. He loved his LSU Tigers football and baseball.

The family would like to thank the staff and doctors at Haydel Family Clinic, Terrebonne General Medical Center, and Doctor Russell Henry and staff at AMG Specialty Hospital.

The family ask that donations can be made in lieu of flowers to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org  .

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic; local and CDC regulations require facemask and proper social distancing while attending funeral services.
