Helen Duplantis

Helen Ann Duplantis, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Terrebonne General Medical Center. She was a native of Grand Caillou and a resident of Houma.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Holy Family Catholic Church on Friday, March 16, 2018 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Helen is survived by her sons, Emile Hotard, Jr., and wife Vickie, Nathan Hotard and wife Elsa, and Troy Duplantis and fiancé Carol; grandchildren, McKay, Courtney, Brittney, Tyson, Whitney, Bryce, and Nathan; four great grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Eula Mae Duplantis; daughter, Wanda Hotard; brother, Warner; sisters, Nita, Eve, and Mary Ann.

Helen was a great mom and provider to her sons and daughter. She loved them with all her heart. Helen had very little, but through her love for her family, she gave a lot. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and Pokeno nights with her friends. She also loved the holidays, cooking for her family and family gatherings. Helen has passed from this world, carried by Angels, she is now in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
