Helen Domingos

Helen Vassos Domingos, age 86, passed away Friday May 7, 2021. She was a native of Pittsburg, PA and long time resident of Houma, La.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend visitation and services at St. Matthews Episcopal Church (243 Barrow St. Houma, La 70360) from 9:00 AM until service time at 10:30 AM. A private burial will be held by the family in Lake Charles.

Helen is survived by son, David Domingos; sister, Mary Simms; granddaughter, Heather Musgrave; four great-grandchildren; niece, Melissa Comeaux; and numerous godchildren.

Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Domingos; parents, Peter and Freda Liamos Vasso; brothers, Chester and James Vasso; grandmother, Helen Liamos.  

Helen was a member of the American for Women and a parishioner of St. Matthews’ Episcopal Church since 1974. She retired from the Social Security Administration. She was the Church Historian for the ECW.
